Stonewall is a structural engineering company that delivers comprehensive structural inspections and building design services in the Triangle area for both residential and commercial projects. Stonewall’s small team is full of passionate, dedicated engineers who meet every deadline and approach each and every project seriously, with their strong reputation in mind.
The company was founded in 2011 by Chuck LaVerdiere. Chuck grew up in Southern California and graduated from the top-rated Jacobs School of Engineering at the University of California San Diego. Over the years, Chuck’s design experience has taken all shapes and sizes; home remodels and additions, historical renovations, concrete tilt-up structures, steel framed buildings, mid-rise mixed-use buildings, commercial fit-ups, and more. He started Stonewall Structural Engineering with a brand based on structural integrity and a passion for doing things the right way, starting with the designer.
